Lead Automation & Electrical

This role is eligible to participate in the Location Incentive Program, designed to compensate employees physically working in our high activity areas, in addition to an employee's current base pay.  The candidate will lead the Automation, Instrumentation & Electrical team in theConstruction Team and isresponsible forconstruction aspects of Oil and Gasfacilities projects including automation, power, instrumentation andelectrical components.  Responsible for the assignment of appropriateconstruction management personnel forconstruction projects, includingconstruction personnel as well ascontractors to ensure properconstructionsupport for projects.  Responsible for the safety ofconstruction personnel andcontractors. The successful candidate for this position will beresponsiblefor, but not limited to, the following job duties:  Supervises team members and manages programs such as performance management, goal setting, compensation planning and development/training for direct reports Coordinates and supervises the activities of automation/instrumentation/electricalconstruction personnel with regard to the scheduling and construction of facilities projects Works closely with Construction Manager and other Leaders to level resources and to keep similar approach to projects Consults on, reviews, gives feedback/recommendations and approves facilities cost estimates and schedules prepared by the facilities engineers Ensures compliance with operational, financial, safety and environmental goals and objectives established for projects Evaluates and recommends constructioncontractors in support of facilitiesconstruction Supports the Facilities and Construction Department by sharing experiences on past results achieved and lessons learned to ensure improved overall department performance. Actively participates in facility design reviews and risk assessments Ensures all PSSRs are completed prior to startup Ensures MOCs for Capital Construction projects have been performed at appropriate times in the project Works with equipment/materials coordinator(s) to ensure timely provision of materials for projects Provides for the development of direct reports by means of performance appraisals and personal development plans as well as mentoring Determines project assignments for direct reports Works with Construction Manager and other construction leads to collectively set goals for the team Conducts and/or leads incident investigations when appropriate Ensures field work is performed in compliance with all applicable regulations and Company policies. Occasionally performs the duties of Construction Manager Communicates with partners and management as needed Qualifications  Qualifications Experience: 10+ years of working experience on facilitiesconstruction projects with minimum 5+ years of Oil field experience. A track record of innovation, low cost safe construction with good technical understanding of Construction related disciplines, particularly in instrumentation, electrical and automation Strong Knowledge of oil and gas production processes Solid understanding of industry electrical testing requirements and procedures as well as arc flash and other electrical safety requirements Effective leadership and mentoring skills Ability to perform under pressure and work multiple projects concurrently.  Demonstrates strong time and project management skills Ability to develop technical and economic recommendations with incomplete information Good communication skills (written & verbal) and able to communicate effectively with all levels of organization Good analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to interact with customers and co-workers in a positive and professional manner Team player with strong interpersonal skills Demonstrated construction management skills including material & labor planning, cost & schedule estimating, contracting, cost & progress tracking and management, documentation, post appraisal and process improvement Knowledge of Electrical Infrastructure: Materials, Constructability, Installation, Estimation of items such as switchracks, PLCs, transformers, transmitters, switches, etc. Experience in Rotating Equipment (Pumps, Compressors, VRUs): Materials, Constructability, I&E and controls High proficiency in use of construction drawings, survey drawings, and installation specifications Knowledge of Surface Equipment (Vessels, Tanks, Headers): Materials, Constructability, I&E and controls Solid understanding of automation and electrical design principles Strong understanding of MOCs, HAZOPs and PSSRs Expertise in construction specifications, codes and practices Ability to understand and/or develop electrical installation procedures and qualifications, and test personnel to these standards. Ability to develop/review Lifting plans for critical lifts; e.g. transformers, etc. Knowledge of material handling/staging principles Ability to evaluate manpower loading plans Proficient use of Microsoft Office software including MS Project, MS Word and MS Excel Education: High school diploma or GED; Associates degree or greater preferred 00020981

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
