IRC27032 Pipeline Operator I

Brief DescriptionResponsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pipeline operations and maintenance to ensure proper and optimum operation of all associated equipment and systems. Accountable for the safety of employees, contractors, Noble resources and the environment in their area.Detailed Description
All Level Specific Duties for Trainee B.
Responsible for monitoring, operation, and maintenance of any pipeline.
Completes all required training, sign offs and qualifications for position.
Responsible for remote operation and monitoring of all pipelines including DOT pipeline.
Operates a pipeline to deliver liquids to high pressure sales line.
Seeks opportunities to optimize pipeline production in a safe and efficient manner .
Assists in pipeline start-up and shut-down operations.
Ensures roustabouts and relief personnel comply with pipeline procedures and Noble policies.
Ensures work performed by third parties complies with pipeline procedures and Noble policies including DOT Regulations.
Prepares necessary paperwork including procedures, maintenance reports, safety reports, leak reports, equipment reports, etc. and distributes to supervisor and organization as well as third party compliance.
Performs routine and non-routine sampling as needed.
Maintains, updates, and promotes safety procedures regarding the pipeline for all contract, third party, and company personnel.
Performs roustabout duties as required.
Perform operational tasks as requested.
Conducts periodic visits to inspect pipelines as well as above ground appurtenances.
Provides direction on day-to-day performance of third party personnel.
Perform everyday pigging and field operations.
Basic knowledge of DOT requirements CFR 192/195.
Assist in maintenance of freezes including blow downs, and methanol injection.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Oil field/Pipeline experience preferred.
Typically requires one year of pipeline experience
OSHA and DOT training strongly preferred
Experience with computer systems preferred.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Additional Details
WORKING CONDITIONS
Ability to work significant amount of time as required in completing job responsibilities.
Ability to work weekend rotations.
Daily driving of approximately 90 miles or more as required completing assigned jobs and/or repairs.
Exposure to and driving in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, extreme cold, sun, rain, hail, sleet, high winds, etc. to run well routes and inspect and repair equipment.
Working environment includes exposure to extremely loud noises in field, hazardous chemicals, and hydrocarbons that may be under extreme pressure for which appropriate safety measures are required. Also includes
working with moving machinery/equipment, parts, and electricity for which extreme caution must be taken.
Regular bending, climbing (to heights up to two stories or more), lifting (up to 25 pounds without assistance and approximately 100 pounds with assistance) crouching, pulling, kneeling, and reeling to check equipment and
gauges and perform repairs.
Ability to traverse uneven terrain and climb metal stairs under all weather conditions using appropriate safety measures.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
