TIC ? The Industrial Company is seeking
PRIMARY PURPOSE: To install low, medium, and high voltage power cables, hook up transformers and perform low, medium, and high voltage terminations. Employees in this position working in Texas must have a Texas Electrical License.
1. Experience with and able to operate bucket trucks, flex lifts and digger trucks
2. Construct and maintain all phases of electrical line construction to include: distribution and transmission. Should be able to install poles and messenger, low voltage, medium voltage, and high voltage power cables, both shielded and non-shielded
3. Mentors the work of lesser skilled craftsman, providing training, guidance, and skills development
4. Should be able to perform low, medium, and high voltage terminations while maintaining and repairing overhead distribution or transmission lines.
5. Stringing new wire, install and maintain insulators along with installing and maintaining transformers and other equipment.
6. Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy
7. Make decisions based on measurable criteria
8. Understand construction specifications
9. Visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings
10. Have good knowledge in transformer hookup and pole line hardware
11. Ability to work at heights.
12. A high awareness of safety and compliance with company safety rules is required at all times

+ Lineman: Typically minimum of 5 years experience (Usually state / municipal licensed and / or NCCER certified. Documentation of completion of a journeyman lineman program is desired.
+ Apprentice: Typically minimum of 1 years and enlisted in an apprenticeship program or being mentored by a Journeyman
+ Helpers: 0-2 years experience
+ Educational and experience requirements include: High school diploma or technical and business training and experience. Basic arithmetic (e.g. add, subtract, multiply, divide, calculate percentages) and graphing (e.g. bar, pie, line) essential. Organizational, leadership, communication, and analytical skills are required.

DESCRIPTION: Employee must be able to climb the following: in/out of lifts, ladders, stairs, and poles. Must be able to drive and posses a Class A CDL.
LIFTING: The employee must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 125lbs. occasionally from floor-knuckle, knuckle-shoulder, and shoulder-overhead.
CARRYING: The employee must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 125 lbs. occasionally for short (under 10 feet) and long (over 10 feet) distances.
PUSHING/PULLING: The employee must be able to push/pull up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. occasionally from all heights for short (under 10 feet) distances.
FINE MOTOR COORDINATION: Excellent to nature of skill. Employee required to manipulate power cables and hand tools. Must have good eye/hand coordination.
RANGE OF MOTION: Full range of motion required for high degree of overhead work.
BALANCE: Excellent balance secondary to having to climb/walk pipes as small as 6" wide as long as fall restraint protection is provided.
VISION: Normal visual acuity, depth perception, color discrimination, for working around hazardous materials areas and working/balancing at heights.
HEARING: Sufficient hearing to hear warning signals and co-workers warning of high risk of objects falling and plant warning signs.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS: Able to work at various heights the employee will be exposed to dust, fumes or gases and to changes of weather.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
