Key Business Objectives:
Responsible for emissions testing/maintenance on USA Compression fleet equipment with a strong emphasis on following and observing all environmental policies. With minimal supervision, ensures proper operation and environmental compliance of USA Compression fleet equipment, maintains customer relationships, assist with customer emissions. Provide support for Field Service Technicians. All employees are responsible for maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
RequirementsDuties and Responsibilities:
Perform Quarterly Compliance Testing on Engines using EPA Reference Methods.
Collect site specific emissions & operational data.
Coordinate and maintain customer and internal testing schedules.
Maintain emissions control inventory and replacement element tracking.
Maintain analyzer calibration schedule and perform repairs as needed.
Oversee installation of new or replacement control components.
First line of support for technicians having emissions troubleshooting issues.
Review oil analysis results, advise ASM & FST of corrections needed.
Review internal compliance alerts and advise ASM & FST of corrections needed.
Oversee and provide technical support for Emissions Compliance
Skills and Education:
Technical or trade school certification or 3 years of additional work experience in related field
Minimum of 6 years of experience
Knowledgeable in environmental regulations and emissions test methods
Operate independently with little or no supervision
High degree of mechanical ability
Read and understand technical manuals
Moderate understanding of compression
Internet and Microsoft office proficient
Valid driver's license with a Motor Vehicle Record history acceptable to USA Compression
Able to configure gas compression equipment
Understand and configure natural gas engine air/fuel ratio controls
Full time Non-exempt level position
Working Conditions
Periodic lifting requirements in excess of 50 lbs. Ability to stand and walk on uneven and varied terrain, climb ladders and stairs, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch and crawl depending on the task requirements
Exposure to extremes in temperature and weather conditions depending upon assigned location
Exposure to high noise levels (in excess of 85dBA), as well as exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals and materials
The position requires ability to read and interpret data as well as having the capacity to professionally and effectively communicate (verbally and written) with both company and outside personnel.
Employee will be a member of a team that is geographically dispersed.
Working conditions in natural gas compression vary from one job site to another. Some job sites are indoors in compressor stations while other sites are outside, exposed to a variety of weather conditions. The work environment may be in hazardous locations. There is a strong emphasis on safety while working with heavy equipment and machinery

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
