Material Handler Senior

Overview: Processes a variety of transactions related to warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, issuing parts to jobs, physically moving parts, and inventory counts.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to:
Assist in compiling information such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions, used by others to determine stock supply and need for replenishment
Receive incoming materials, supplies and equipment
Unload trucks, inspect material for damage or defects, uncrate and assemble materials if needed
Demonstrate proficiency and ability to train on ERP system to process all shipping / receiving / inventory transactions in computer system
Operate material handling equipment including hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, delivery vehicle, etc.
Effectively demonstrate time management and organizational skills needed to complete competing tasks and meet time sensitive deadlines
Maintain good housekeeping in assigned area
Comply with all applicable safety, environmental, and PPE policies and procedures
Read, write and speak English
Strong knowledge of inventory processes including storing, receiving, packaging, preserving, issuing, shipping, transferring, and inventory control
General knowledge of gas compression inventory parts preferred
Minimum Education and Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver license and good driving record
Forklift operator certification
Minimum Experience:
Typically at least 5 years related purchasing, parts, warehousing, or inventory experience
Experience with inventory management systems, preferably with Oracle
Some experience in gas compression or related industry preferred
Expected to serve as a resource to others for knowledge transfer, training and checking work
May occasionally lead a team

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
