Job Description
Overview:
While this position is titled Parts Coordinator, the actual Company title is Requisition Coordinator.
Accurately identifies part requirements from cross functional departments (Operations, AMS, and Shop) and creates requisitions for parts, service or expenses.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Asks the right questions about what is needed and help the requester through the process of identifying the correct part, service or expense.
+ Looks up part numbers, correctly populates required system fields in a timely manner, and uses P-Card when appropriate.
+ Conducts extensive item and quantity on hand searches within Enterprise (Local Subs, Business Unit, Region, and ODC) before submitting requisition to purchase.
+ Creates/Tracks approved internal/purchase requisitions for parts, service or expenses.
+ Communicates with cross-functional departments (Operations, AMS, and Shops).
+ Trains/mentors less experienced Requisition Coordinators.
+ Observes and complies with all safe work practices, wears PPE.
+ Complies with all HSE regulations and requirements
+ ERP Oracle knowledge of Purchasing/Inventory system.
Basic Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent with minimum of 3 years? experience.

+ Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
